『Art & Mind』はアート、狂気、無意識への旅を語る作品で、ルネサンスのフランドル派の巨匠から、シュールレアリスム（超現実主義）の前衛的な芸術運動、アートブリュットとアウトサイダーアートの名のない天才まで、先見の明のあるアーティストと創造的衝動の探求を主題とするドキュメンタリーです。 この映画には、アーティストのヒエロニムス・ボッシュ、フランシスコ・ゴヤ、ヴィンセント・ヴァン・ゴッホ、ウィリアム・ブレイク、エドヴァルド・ムンク、サルバドール・ダリなどの芸術家が紹介されました。

概要

『アート&マインド 』は、アートと狂気の関係を探ります。狂気というテーマは、歴 史上最も素晴らしい画家たちにインスピレーションを与えましたが、狂気の人たちはし ばしば、芸術を創造したいという止められない衝動を経験しています。『アート&マイ ンド 』はまた、先見の明があり、前衛的な芸術家たちがどのように自分たちの芸術の ためのインスピレーションとして無意識の心を探ろうとしたかを調査しています。

ヒエロニムス・ボスやフランドルの巨匠たちの「狂気の石」、ピーテル・ブリューゲル の終末的なビジョン、ゴヤの説得力のある精神病院の描写、エドヴァルド・ムンクの 「叫び」やヴィンセント・ヴァン・ゴッホの「包帯を巻いた耳を持つ自画像」など、数 え切れないほどの狂気のテーマは中世以降の芸術家たちにインスピレーションを与え、 真に壮大な絵画を生み出してきました。

『アート&マインド 』は、人間の心の理解の進歩と芸術への影響を追跡します。無意 識の出現は、彼らの芸術の夢やビジョンの隠された領域を探求するためにロマンチック な芸術家に触発されました。ジークムント・フロイトとその同時代人の心理学の理論 は、後にシュルレアリスムのインスピレーションの主要な源となりました。

幻想的な創造と狂気との間の境界線は時々微妙であり、多くの芸術家は狂気の発作を経 験した。ゴッホは精神病院に閉じ込められている間に自分の耳を切り、ウィリアム・ブ レイクは死んだ詩人と会話をし、ゴヤは声を聞いていたし、ムンクは生まれたときから 狂気の中にいることを確信していた。シュルレアリストのレオノーラ・キャリントン、 ウニカ・チューン、アントニン・アルトーも、精神病院に閉じ込められた時間を過ご し、狂気を体験したことを芸術に落とし込んでいます。

アドルフ・ヴェルフリの 45 巻の大作からブライアン・チャーンリーの統合失調症の魅力 的な肖像画まで、部外者の芸術家たちの物語もまた、同様に刺激的です。『アート&マ インド 』は、ヴィクトリア朝の精神病院の闇の隅での創設から、世界で最も優れた ギャラリー、美術館、個人コレクションに展示されるまで、アール・ブリュットの歴史 を明らかにしています。

ディレクター

Amélie Ravalecは、ロンドンを拠点とするパリジャンの映画監督、ビデオ編集者、カラリストです。2009年以降、ドキュメンタリーの監督とプロデュースを続けています。アート＆マインド（2019）、都市崩壊のためのインダストリアル・サウンドトラック（2015）、パリ/ベルリン：アンダーグラウンドテクノ20年（2012）を撮影してきました。彼女の映画は、世界50か国の映画館、フェスティバル、文化施設で1000を超えるスクリーンで上映とともにリリースされ、ARTE、スカイアーツ、ORFなどのテレビネットワークによって版権を買収されました。
